Nikita Borisevich

Violinist Nikita Borisevich maintains an international career as soloist, chamber musician, and educator, performing regularly throughout the United States and Europe.

A prizewinner in numerous international competitions, he has appeared at venues including the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., the Grand Hall of the Moscow Conservatory, Mozarteum University Salzburg, Shriver Hall in Baltimore, and the Manuel de Falla Auditorium in Granada.

Chamber music occupies a central place in Borisevich's artistic life.

Together with pianist Margarita Loukachkina, he performs as the Borisevich Duo, which has appeared at festivals and concert series across the United States and has received distinctions including the Beverly Hills National Auditions and the Young Artist Development Series Award associated with El Paso Pro Musica and the Peabody Conservatory.

The duo has also appeared on Chicago's Dame Myra Hess Concert Series.

Alongside his performing career, Borisevich is deeply committed to teaching and serves on the faculty of the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University, where he teaches chamber music.

He serves as first violinist of the Embassy String Quartet.
