Veronika Sveshnikova

Violinist Veronika Sveshnikova began studying the violin at the age of four and has developed a career spanning solo, chamber, orchestral, and educational work.

She earned both bachelor's and master's degrees with honors from the Novosibirsk State Conservatory and has been a prizewinner in international competitions and participant in music festivals across Europe and Asia.

From 2015 to 2020, Sveshnikova served as assistant principal in the Novosibirsk Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra while also teaching at the Novosibirsk Special Music School and directing a violin ensemble.

From 2020 to 2024 she performed in the first violin section of the Russian National Youth Symphony Orchestra.

Her orchestral and festival experience has brought her into performances alongside internationally prominent soloists and conductors, while masterclasses with leading violinists have remained an important part of her artistic development.

Now based in Philadelphia, she continues her studies at Temple University under violinist and pedagogue Eduard Schmieder while maintaining an active performance career.

Sveshnikova is also a member of the Embassy String Quartet.
